History: Henry Keck apprenticed in the Tiffany Glass Works Studios after immigrating from Germany in 1898 at nine years old, and worked with Louis Tiffany most of his adult life until striking out on his own. In Keck’s particular style of glass making; He would cover the glass panels in black vitriolic paint & bake it, like enamel; and then go back into the glass panels with an etching tool and slowly & painstakingly etch out the patterns, faces,
And bodies, line by line, until the light was exposed again.
This was an extraordinarily labor intensive method of forming the imagery onto the glass, and is no longer seen in our time.
This is a Powerful statement piece, and would compliment even the most gracious of stately homes.

We will ship anywhere in the world.
