Eco-conscious papercut ketubah, cut and signed by Lauren Rosenthal, artist, designer, and owner of Love by Leya.

Each ketubah is made-to-order with sustainably harvested and processed acid-free papers sourced from Mohawk Fine Paper, a New York-based company with rigorous environmental standards that is 100% wind-powered. Texts are printed with archival UltraChrome pigment inks by Epson, and an archival black ink pen for signing is included with all ketubah orders.

Size 11" w x 15" h

The true lover’s knot is a traditional quilt pattern whose name is a synonym for marriage. The knot is a binding, a way of connecting, engaging, coming together. In this design two birds sit together in the light of the full moon, a circular symbol of wholeness, strength, and clarity.
**custom designs available by commission

secular, reform, interfaith, conservative, orthodox
**all modern texts (secular, reform, interfaith) are available for same sex couples
**custom texts (with or without hebrew translation) are also available for an added fee (and 2 weeks added turn-around time) - contact me with questions

Two color options are listed for each design, however, custom color combinations are available at no extra charge. If you would like more color options, you can order a sample swatch packet of the papers I stock for $5, including shipping (see listing on shop page).

< 1 > Contact me by convo or email hello (at) lovebyleya (dot) com. Please include your WEDDING DATE in your message. Ketubah orders are accepted 4 or more weeks in advance of your wedding date - if your date is less than 4 weeks away, contact me and I'll let you know if a rush order is possible.

< 2 > I will reply with an email that includes an attached order form and full text options.
**When you fill out the order form, you can either spell your names in Hebrew letters or transliterate (spell phoenetically) the Hebrew with English letters. If you don’t have a Hebrew name, I will place a transliteration of your English name into the Hebrew text.
**I am always availale to help you navigate this process, and I also recommend reviewing your personalization information with your rabbi before placing your order.

< 3 > Once I receive your completed order form (by either email or snail mail), I will set up a reserved listing just for you.

< 4 > Within 2 weeks of payment, I'll email you a digital proof of your personalized text. If you've selected custom colors, this proof will also include a digital simulation of your design in your colors. At this point, rabbi approval is highly recommended.

< 5 > Once your proof has been approved, I will craft and ship your ketubah.

Your ketubah will arrive flat, carefully wrapped between 2 pieces of foam board, padded and packed in a corrugated box, and mailed by Priority Mail (2 to 3 days service). Shipping is $25.00 (Canada $35.00).
