Depression Era Chalkware Rabbit Salt and Pepper Shakers

If you crave that old time vintage vibe with a little bit of folk art thrown in, then you have come to the right place. These two pieces are incredible examples of depression era chalkware. Chalkware was used in the 30's and 40's as a medium for art as well as carnival prizes due to its cheap cost. Each depicting a hip rabbit with his(her?) paws in his coat pockets. The original cork is still intact on both pieces and there is only very minor wear for their age. Made in the USA. This set is sure to please with its great aesthetics and wonderful vibe.
