Candlewick design Snack Smoke Sip Set. The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence shows these snack set pieces having been manufactured as pressed glass during the 1940's. Extremely cheap at the time, not uncommon for it to be given away at stores or theaters.
(( Can you believe a food plate with a place to stow a cigarette ??))
!! These times they are A-Changin' !!

This is some serious glass . I weighed one place setting (plate and empty cup), and it's 2#+3oz. ! Beautiful too, you can see "straw marks" on the back side of a few plates- where they actually laid the still hot glass pieces on straw to cool after unmolding.

This set is 6 plates (trays) and six square-bottom cups. The plates measure 10" x 6", (11" handles included) and 3/4" deep. The cups are 2.75" diameter x 2+7/16 tall. I found them about 40 years ago at a farm auction (unused with the paper labels still intact until I washed them), but I have never used them.
"Near mint" condition , "no chips, scratches, scuffs, dings, dents or otherwise undesirable characteristics"- !
I know these are heavy, so shipping and packing materials will not be cheap.
I've done my best to take that into consideration, and I really DO want these to be enjoyed by someone. Those are the reasons that I'm asking just $20.00 for the 12 piece set.
