This is a set of beads made from a combination of two empty bottles, one Bombay Sapphire gin bottle, the other a Harvey's Bristol Cream Sherry bottle. I made a base bead of the gin bottle and wrapped it in a stringer of the sherry bottle, then encased with more gin bottle. I was hoping to get a turquoise bead streaked with the darker cobalt blue, one of the beads seems to be like that if you look really carefully, but they just look like they're a whole colour. Don't get me wrong, they're a very pretty colour, just not what I was looking for. They also look very much like sweets, so please keep them away from small children or anyone likely to 'taste' them.

The beads were made on 2.4mm mandrels. They have been shaped into straight sided lentils and are about 18mm across.

As with all my beads, these have been properly cleaned and annealled in a digitally controlled kiln so are ready for using as soon as you receive them. As with all my recycled beads they come with a certificate stating the original use of the glass.

Hope you like them, thanks for looking.
