In 1917 The McKee Glass Company introduced Glasbake Ovenware to compete with Pyrex ovenware which was made by Corning Glass Works. Glasbake was designed to be used for cooking, serving and storing, a plus for today's eco-conscious consumers. The piece was made after 1961 when the company was sold to Jeanette Glass, probably in the 1970's.
