"Ryders to the Sea," color linoblock print, 20"x 18" approx. Edition of 6, 1974, State II, as in all Lagana prints - hand cut, hand printed, hand signed in pencil by Lagana, followed with 'imp'. (the artist printed it).
This copy is on acid-free Japanese Mulberry paper, but the paper has age spots and some defects in the ink, which is why it's not listed for $150.. These will not be so noticable when the print is framed, but they are there.
The first three pictures are of the print for sale in this listing. The 4th picture is listed on etsy and is of an edition of 30 printed in 1971 on acid paper paper with a turquoise tint to the color sceme. 3 are left in that color sceme on non-acid-free paper with more lines to the sea. The last picture is of a copy in this edition with a different color scheme. which has been sold
The print is the artist's response to reading Synge's "Riders to the Sea"
There are only several copies of this edition left, and this is the last one in this color sceme with the open sea.

As many large unframed prints as you wish can be shipped together for the price of one. As many unframed/unmatted small prints as you wish can be included also. But flat framed/matted work cannot fit into a mailing tube with rolled unframed work . . . unless the frame is bigger and the unframed work can be laid against it.
