Who doesn't love pelicans? Well -- the little fish in this guy's throat pouch probably isn't too thrilled with them, but in general they are amongst the most beloved of birds.

I carefully cut this one out with a scroll saw from half inch plywood and haphazardly painted him to have a distressed, "been hanging outside on the porch for the last 40 years" look. I sanded him just enough to keep you from getting splinters without diluting the nice, rustic texture of the wood. I used an exterior latex paint, but if you really are going to hang him in the sun and rain, let me know in the message area and I'll add a coat of sealer for no extra charge. The wood at the bottom was lightly stained to look like he's sitting on an old dock piling.

Hang him on the wall or just lean him somewhere. Separate hanger is included, so if you decide to go the leaning route, just toss it in your junk drawer and use it to hang something else. (If you can find it again.)

Order as shown (sunshine yellow) or indicate your color preference in the message area when you order. See color selection on last image. Don't see the perfect color? Convo me and we'll see what we can do.

He is 16.25" (41.3 cm) tall and 9.25" (23.5 cm) wide at the widest point.
