Offered here is a most uncommon Ansco No. 0 Vest Pocket camera with "Expert Ansco" features. Likely dating to about 1923 this very nice and well made No. 0 Ansco Vest Pocket camera is made to produce 4X6.5CM exposures on 127 film. There are collectors whose entire collection is made up of "Vest Pocket" cameras and their many variations. This camera would make a great addition to that sort of collection or it would make a very nice addition to any other camera collection. One of the most unusual features of the camera is its unique hinged lens cap. The camera also features an up line shutter with a range of both shutter speeds and apertures. The lens is also a focusing lens which is uncommon on Vest Pocket cameras. This individual camera is in nice cosmetic condition with a good bellows, working shutter and aperture and its original case. It has a metal body with a leather covering and a hinged viewfinder to allow for both vertical and horizontal shooting. Why not add this special little camera to your collection today?

This little camera is amazing! Mom had a vintage Ansco box camera and my small collection began with hers. Seller packaged with camera in its pristine leather case along with its flash outfit as well as original booklet, all bubble wrapped within its leatherette original sales case which was, too, packaged in bubble wrap and in exactly the right sized shipping box so it could not move! The camera itself is unique as described and as I researched a rare find and is of a great material and color! It is unique and a great addition to my collection! I am thrilled to have it now!

I was disappointed after receiving this item b/c there were some dust smears visible through the viewfinder. This is the camera I used to learn photography. It was Nikon's beginner's SLR sold '82-'86. I tested this with 6 different film types noting the camera functioned well and smudging did not impact the images. my old one went out. I used it pretty heavy 2 years. Sparingly after. Stopped taking a battery charge. This is not the Nikon that lasts a lifetime and does not approach the quality of intermediate Nikons at the time and was priced about $150 in '84. Good: it is very light & compact. Has programmed, AP & manual modes. I bought this to replace an old gift. Bad: It is full of plastic parts and potential problems that won't be worth fixing. It's a learner and is good for that but don't expect years of continual use.

Had an issue when I received this camera. I promptly contacted Jeff and we made plans to exchange. He honors his exchange policy and I am so happy for it. I have since sent over 100 shots through the camera and it has worked flawlessly. Very happy, thank you
