Rare 1940's two tone turquoise and cream wool Mexican tourist jacket with cactus by "Garcia Leal"!

This fantastic Mexican tourist jacket is a beautiful shade of rich turquoise wool accented with ivory panels at the front. Pleating at the shoulders. Fringe surrounds the collar, front opening and hem. Front pockets with open tops at the front. Hand embroidered Mexican village scene with cactus, guitars and people in shades of bright orange, fuchsia, purple, green and yellow.

A perfect lightweight jacket for the gal who loves Mexicana!

Very good vintage condition - a few small pin size age spots - does not distract from over all appearance
