This industrial 1940s Revere Eight Model 85 Projector is a smaller and earlier version than the later Model 85, which was taller and heavier. This projector has its original brown case with a faux alligator skin pattern, one reel and detachable cord. IT WORKS!!

Samuel Briskin, a Russian-born philanthropist, founded the Revere Camera Co. (producer of home movie cameras and projectors based out of Chicago) in 1937. In the 1950s the company was the second largest manufacturer of small movie cameras in the USA. They produced high-quality and higher priced projectors that were sturdier (and heavier) than the Bell and Howell models.

This model has the following features/functions:
Motor Speed Control - Low to High
Clutch - On/Off
Motor - On/Off
Lamp - On/Off
Detachable Cord
Approx. Case Dimensions: 10.75" x 7.25" x 15"
Approx. Projector Dimensions: 7.5" x 5" x 13"

This particular projector is very clean and is in working condition. The motor turns on, the light works, all of the knobs and functions work. Please see the video demonstrating the functionality posted to our Facebook page via the link below (you have to log in to FB).
