This tutorial contains diagram and written instructions on how to make this lace Easter Egg Cover, in tatting - lace making technique. Tutorial includes pages with diagram, written instructions and tips on how to make your own springtime holiday decoration. This Tatting Pattern is for both shuttle and needle tatters.
To be able to make this pattern, you will need two shuttles or tatting needle. You will need to know how to make rings, chains, floating rings and joins. Easter Egg Cover in the photos is made with size 40 cotton thread and is 9.5 cm / 3.75 in in diameter, and it is mounted on 6 cm/2.25 in high chicken egg, but with some adjustments can be used on larger eggs or Christmas balls
