** This scarf is RESERVED for Diane. Thanks! **

There are not many Vera scarves from the 1950's still left on the planet. And even fewer ones that are huge, so beautifully painted, made with parachute silk, and in amazing condition!

This Vera was hand-screened in upstate NY at Vera's first printing house - Printex. Her earliest Printex scarves featured over three or four inks, each color requiring its own pass of the screen.

Perfectly painted red roses bloom with white sage green leaves over bright white silk. Expertly hand-rolled hems in contrasting sage green silk show the pride, quality and care that create a Vera scarf.

Made in the U.S.A. with pure silk. Measures a huge 31" square - among Vera's largest size. Perfect for wrapping a zillion different ways.

Excellent vintage condition... I dare say MINT.
