Vera Neumann was a design leader - often originating styles long before we think of them as having been popular. Optical art became very popular in the late 1960's. And yet Vera began releasing op-art designs in the late-1950's... such as this one.

This gorgeous Vera combines a bold, post-modernist design in a classic color combination of red, white and blue... all hand-screened into pure silk twill fabric. Hand-rolled hems in contrasting red silk remind you of the affordable luxury and exceptional craftsmanship of a Vera scarf.

Measures a huge 30" square. Made in Japan with Vera's famous pure silk. Hand washable in cool water.

Very nice vintage condition... has a bit of dye transfer, common to Vera's red dyes of that era.
