Spalted Stump, sanded and finished with a wood sealer. Comes with furniture sliders on bottom of stump. Great side table. Made in Oregon. Tree had fallen from natural causes.

This wood is Western Hemlock, about 60 years old, located in the Mt Hood National Forest on "Hunchback mountain". The tree had fallen from a storm, It appears to have blown right over, bending the wood and splitting it in multiple places up the tree. I cut it into pieces last year and have been storing it until just recently sanding them down and turning them into tables. It is a lovely wood species and it now it can be put to use, all the while providing the means for a healthier forest, less susceptible to fire and less prone to wood destroying insects. :-)

17" tall and 14" wide.
