This is a wonderful House of Edgeworth Extra High Grade Sliced Pipe Tobacco Tin C. 1940. It is approximately 2" high, 4 1/4" wide. Of couse this tin has some rust as you can see which adds to the charm. The beautiful coloring and fonts used on this tin are still very visible.

The inside of the lid states the Larus & Bro. Co. guarantee for its Edgeworth Tobacco. This yin would make to anyone's collection of tobacciana. It would also make a wonderful display piece or to hold your little things in.
On June 19, 1877, Charles and Herbert Larus opened their tobacco business in a small factory in Richmond, Virginia. The Larus & Brother Company, also commonly known as The House of Edgeworth, was best known for their Edgeworth pipe tobaccos.
This is a used item and is sold as is.
