Made of Southern California grown eucalyptus, a beautiful, dense & durable hardwood.
This premium handcrafted guitar pick was shaped & sanded independently, it features a concave thumb groove on each side to ensure a firm grip, & also give the pick an incredible feel of control. This pick measures approx. 1-1/4"or 32 mm long X 15/16" or 24 mm wide, it is about 2.8 mm thick at the thickest part of the pick, but feels & plays thinner due to the thumb grooves on each side, the pick tapers down to a thickness of about 1 mm at the tip, & was designed with the guitarist in mind for total comfort & play-ability, this pick is treated with a special oil blend, for lasting protection I let the pick soak in the oil to ensure that the pick is deeply penetrated, I then rub in a natural bees wax paste for a smooth & silky finish, while the thumb grooves keep their grip for comfort & control, & if you perspire or moisten your finger tips, it will actually improve your grip. It may take a while to get used to playing with a wooden pick, but every guitar player that I know, simply can't live without their hardwood guitar picks. So why not take your guitar playing to new levels with the unmatched performance & the true tones that my handmade Artisan wood picks employ. They also make unique & excellent gifts! Thanks for looking!

CALIFORNIA EUCALYPTUS
The eucalyptus belongs to the Myrtaceae family in which there are ninety separate genera.
The eucalyptus can be found in a variety of sizes with some species being among the largest trees in the world, whereas other members of the genus, may be mere shrubs. It grows on the desert, swampland, valleys, and alpine regions. It finds nourishment in a complexity of soils and can survive in differing types of climate. The color of the wood varies from white to dark brown depending upon the species with the heartwood and sapwood being indistinguishable among species. The grain of this hardwood is similar to hickory or ash and is just as beautiful.
A very strong, hard and durable wood.
