Is this the cutest baby or what???? This little framed picture of "Bright Eyes, " as it is often known, is by the famous children's artist Maud Fangel.

She lived from 1881 to 1968 and was THE most famous illustrator of children for the first half of the 20th century. Her drawings appeared on the covers of "The Ladies Home Journal, " and advertisements for Cream of Wheat and Colgate's Talc Powder, to name a few.

This was a lithograph (GP 2475) that was made into a little framed picture by someone.
The frame is wooden and the cover is plastic. The backing is black paper.

It is absolutely precious and would make a wonderful shower gift. Or a nice piece in a special niche in your home.
