This king quilt is made of beautiful top quality batik fabrics in a modern pattern. The cool colors and organic motifs of batiks give this contemporary quilt a calming vibe.

Horizontal rows of stiches flow like rivers across the quilt, adding to its serene feeling. This would make the perfect gift that would be treasured for many generations.

This king quilt measures approximately 103 X 112. I used a turquoise blue batik for the backing and one of the greens for the binding. The binding has been made double and machine stitched to the front of the quilt, then turned and hand stitched to the back to finish.

This quilt is filled with poloydown batting which is soft and silky, but about half the weight of cotton. This makes it possible to use all year long.

When washing becomes necessary, this can be done in the machine with cold water and a gentle cycle. Toss it in the dryer and dry on a low setting, lay it flat, or hang it to dry.

All of my quilts are professionally quilted by Carol's Country Quilt Shop in Van Buren, Missouri.
