A lighthearted approach to the art of gourmet cooking, by Rebecca Caruba and published by Gramercy Publishing Company, New York 1963.

Over 155 pages, including the index and recipes include appetizers, lunch, entrees, desserts and so much more. Each recipe uses a wine or spirit in the ingredients and also suggests an accompanying wine.

This has a 40 page introduction "A few thoughts on Planning and Preparation" and also covers the use of wines and spirits. Lightly peppered with loose pen and ink drawings throughout.

The cover is delicate in condition with tears at the edges, but the fold-over leaves are in perfect condition. The pages of the book are also in excellent condition.

There are no sauce drips, coffee stains, notations or other marks that any self-respecting cook book should have! So please adopt this fabulous book and make it your own.
