Here's a scarce antique cookbook title and interesting bit of advertising ephemera from the New Process Stove Company of Cleveland, Ohio. From it's charming illustrated cover, to the black and white stove illustrations, recipes, time/temperature charts and canning charts, this is a fascinating peek into the vintage 1920s kitchen, when temperature controlled cooking was a recent technological advance.

Booklet opens with a discussion of how the Lorain Oven Heat Regulator works with New Process gas ranges, offering "new scientific features to cook automatically without watching, to save time, fussing, worry, and thereby to conserve strength and health...." Includes illustrations of Models 8-47, 8-46-6, 118-46-6, 8-46, 118-46, 6-42, 166-42, 4-37, 114-37, R-40xx, R-40x, 24-18-16, 18-97-16, 24-63 and 18-81,

Soft cover booklet measures 4.5 x 8 inches; 48 numbered pages; mid-1920s.

Condition: Good, average used condition, noting moderate cover wear, soil, penciled and yellow crayon writing on back cover (including a note to say the owner went for gas and will return in 10 minutes). A solid, readable copy.
