The Sierpinski Triangle is a simple and intuitive fractal. Start with a triangle. Make 2 copies of that triangle and join all 3 at their points so there is a 4th blank triangle in the middle. Then, make 2 copies of that image and combine it with the original around another blank triangle in the middle. Do this again, and again, and again and you'll get a Sierpinski Triangle.

The 4th iteration of the fractal Sierpinski Triangle is made from one continuous length of 20 gauge coloured copper wire and is 5.5cm (2.25") wide at the base. It hangs on a 41cm (16") craft chain. (Chain can be shortened or lengthened, as desired.)
