These are getting harder and harder to find, as they are made from a thin celluloid and many have disappeared over the years due to breakage.

When Prohibition was over in 1933, alcohol related novelties were very popular and chic. This little cocktail recipe holder, in the figural form of a posh hotel Bell Boy, came in several colors. This is the cream colored version.

Three Inches tall, very thin, paint is in good shape.

He has 13 cocktail recipes.

There is a tiny bit of glue residue where his feet attach to the base. It is possible that he was reglued at one time. I am not sure. Please see photo #3.

The last photo shows a grouping of these cocktail recipes holders which are listed separately in our Etsy store.
