A cute french medal dated 1939.

It features Our Lady Notre Dame de Marsat with a french text "Priez pour nous" (pray for us) and "18 mai 1939".
On the reverse, St Gregory of Tours and "539-1939"

Saint Gregory of Tours (November 30, c. 538 – November 17, 594) was a Gallo-Roman historian and Bishop of Tours, which made him a leading prelate of Gaul.

It measures approx 1.6 cm = 5/8 of an inch diam, without top loop or bail.
