Whichever way you go, this is an unusual and genuine piece of Australian history. I have several documents for James Davies - a travelling salesman from 1894 - 1907. In his job, did he drive from town to town ? Unlikely: cars were scarce then. Did he travel by train? Unlikely if he were carrying large goods. Horse and cart? More likely. What a lonely and dusty job that must have been, clattering along the rough Australian countryside from one small town to the next.

This will make a great addition for the serious collector. Fabulous for use as an authentic prop for photography, a movie or play. Or, frame it for the gentleman's den/office/study, or in Australia, put it "straight in the pool room." My US friends call it the 'game room."
