This planter is full of beautiful color as is much of the Japanese ceramicware of the 1940's or 1950's. My photography doesn't do it justice. Photo one is true colors.

The overall height of this household floral is 9 1/2", and is 12" long. Looking at it from the end, it is 9" wide with the flowers. The actual planter is 7" L x 4" H x 3" W and is signed on the bottom "SNCO San Francisco". In addition, the original sticker is there and says: SNCO Imports, San Francisco, Japan.

About a year ago, my friend did the floral arrangement. She is very good at floral décor and
has often made floral arrangements that sell in the hundreds of dollars.

Oh yes, for those interested, the street names on the planter are: POWELL & HYDE, POWELL & MARKET, POWELL & MASON STS., AND HYDE AND BEACH.
