"A cat's rage is beautiful, burning with pure cat flame, all its hair standing up and crackling blue sparks, eyes blazing and sputtering." --William S. Burroughs

"Blue oblivion, largely lit, smiled and smiled at me." -- William Rose Benet

"Her dark eyes smiled upon the encroaching night, tiny lines and creases in their corners. Yes, she had lived hard and loved badly. At times like these, upon the quiet pulse of midnight, the regrets rolled in like billowing storm clouds brewing on the blue horizon."

For your consideration, this blue and purple Indigo Night Regrets Victorian style hat pin. A finial of deep indigo blue and royal purple shades. Are these the deep colors of the night sky. or an indigo teardrop of regret?

A six inch silver hat pin with clutch is accented with a finial like combination of a purple faceted glass teardrop. A blue rhinestone spacer is situated between the two main beads. A large faceted blue glass oval bead finishes the color on the stem of the pin. Silver findings are interspersed between.

The beaded portion measures two inches in length and is 1/2 inch in width.

This would be wonderful on a deep jewel-tone scarf or a deep, elegant addition to your glittering collection. Perfect for a vintage pincushion or Renaissance costume.

Purchase two or more hat pins and they will come packaged on a lovely hand-tied bouquet display card as shown in the last photo.

If you are new to the beautiful world of hat pins, consider their uses:
grouped together in a sunny location as sun catchers,
displayed on an antique vanity,
fanned out in a crystal perfume vase or vintage pin cushion,
pinned through a beautiful tapestry pillow,
arranged in a bridal bouquet as a keepsake.
Just plain beautiful things!

Thank you for visiting my studio today.

Much love without regrets,
Cindy, the Gaffney Girl
