This pretty little bud vase stands 7" high at its tallest point and is 3" wide at its fattest point. The vase is a glazed terra cotta rather than ceramic so this makes it unique! The paint pattern is unusual and the gold paint is a metallic with true-gold appearance.

Because of the terra cotta and gold paint I thought this vase might be worth a pretty penny so I contacted one of the Antiques Roadshow appraisers. He said it is circa 1955-1965 Californian and although beautiful, holds little more than sentimental value.

That being said, it's still a very pretty piece that would add some mid century modern flair to any tabletop!

Note: there is a small chip on the bottom at the side of the vase but it's not easily noticeable unless the vase is picked up and inspected from the bottom.
