This is very large, vintage all-bisque doll with jointed shoulders. My best guess is that she dates from the 1950s or early 1960s. She is approximately 8-1/8” tall.

Her features include a fantastic expression from upwardly glancing googlie eyes, molded hair with a painted blue bow, a closed mouth, frozen lower body, and vintage sewn-on clothing. She is unpainted beneath her clothing.

One of her feet is marked “MADE IN JAPAN” with a fan-shaped logo (see photo). She has similar markings from a mold impression on her upper back: a fan-shaped logo above “MADE IN JAPAN” (I wasn’t able to get a good photo of the markings on upper back without removing her clothes, which are sewn on).

There are age-related tears to her skirt at the creases of the pleats (see photo), but the tears are largely unnoticeable when she is on display and isn't holding the side of her skirt open for pesky photographers. There's some light soiling from play or storage and a few tiny manufacturing flaws, as shown in the photos. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs and she is in very good condition overall.
