This beautiful batik silk scarf was hand painted by me. It is a patchwork of three different designs that flow together beautifully. The silk is soft and has a luxurious feel that the photos just can't reveal.

Batik is traditionally a wax process and I did use the wax to create the pattern here.
I have made many of these scarves and each one is different.
The designs were originally painted as textile designs for the Womens Wear Industry in New York City. These are some of the patterns that I have in my library and that I am now able to recycle into scarves or purses.
This scarf is 8" wide and 57" long and is lined in a beige synthetic fabric.
It can be dry cleaned or hand washed in cold water and ironed
Click on all of the photos to get a better idea of how the scarf looks. Here it is worn with jeans and a T shirt but it also would work with a more formal dress or sweater.
See my shop for other choices. This is ready to ship and one of a kind.
