Wooden spatula for flipping your flapjacks of salvaged Texas Honey Mesquite. There is no charge for shipping on this item through the end of April, This one is 12 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. When I am at shows I will hear people whisper that they cant find the joint where I glued the two kinds of wood together. Mesquite is kind of unusual in that it has this bright yellow sapwood and the dark brown heartwood. This one is mostly dark with very dramatic grain with the bright yellow sap wood on the top of the handle. The front edge is thin enough to cut cornbread in the pan or slide right under cookies fresh out of the oven. If you've never used a wooden spatula then you don't know what you are missing. Will not damage your expensive pans. Finished with beeswax and mineral oil.

Care is easy, just wash in hot soapy water, towel dry, and apply some mineral oil or walnut oil every couple of weeks or you can buy some of our spoon oil finish which is Beeswax and mineral oil. A 4 oz. jar lasts for a long time and it will help to keep your utensils looking and feeling good for many years.
