Great antique spring balance scale with brass face set in cast iron frame. This is a 200lb No. 235T made in England around 1900. There is a stamp mark to the left of Salter name which appears to be a crown with letters and numbers underneath but hard to make out. Cast iron case still shows some of the original green paint along with a bit of rust giving it a great patina. Spring still has good tension.

Richard Salter began his business in 1760 in the village of Bilston, England.

Measures 9 1/2" diameter. 20" from top ring to bottom of hook. Weighs approx. 9lbs
