A dinner bowl with a cover and a finger bowl in the Chelsea pattern. They were made by Noritake in Japan and have a patent date of 1926.
The cover has two peacocks in a white center with an ornate floral design in a cream center on the rim The bowl has the same floral design in cream and white with gold painted handles. There is also a gold painted handle on the cover. The finger bowl repeats the design of the cover
The bowl is 11 1/2" from handle to handle and 2 1/2" deep with a 10" lid. The finger bowl is 8 1/4" by 4 1/2" and about 3/4" deep.
They are in very good to excellent condition with slight paint loss to the underside of the handle and the gold on the edge of the lid.
They are two beautiful pieces of Noritake and would be an asset to any collection.
