This cute teapot is a vintage piece of Americana. From an estate sale, it is vitreous china in ivory with a raised painted Dutch boy and girl holding hands and holding a flower in the other hand. There are other flowers in the same design as well as a leaf and vine design around the top and bottom. The colors are pink, yellow and green.

It was manufactured in the USA by the Porcelier Pottery Company sometime between 1927 and 1954. The company had a factory in Ohio and then Pennsylvania.

With the lid the teapot is 8" tall. From spout to handle measures 9". It holds 6 cups. .

This sweet teapot has been used, and I'm sure loved, a lot and so shows the normal wear and tear of a much loved item. There is a crack line on the inside but is not open and is smooth to the touch. There is no crazing anywhere on it but there are a few dings here and there. The spout has the most issues with a hairline crack and the end is chipped (see pic #4).

It may be past using for tea, but could be a wonderful centerpiece with a potted plant in it or displayed with your other vintage teapots.
