This is an original Ironrite Health Chair. The earliest version with steel strap for the frame and wood seat and back (later version were all steel) This chair was manufactured by the Ironrite Company and designed by Herman Sperlich. Patented in 1938. One of the first ergonomic designs with the pivoting back rest. The overall condition is very good with some expected wear and scratches and some rust on the legs. The decal is very clean and in great condition.

The seat height measures 17" and is 16-3/4" wide by 13-1/2" deep. The seat back is 5" wide by 15-1/2" long. The base footprint is 16" wide by 19" deep and the overall height to the top of the back rest is 27".

I will likely ship this unassembled, only 6 bolts to remove. ***Please convo me for a shipping quote to your destination.

Thanks so much!
