A pretty mourning pendant from the early 1900s. Mourning jewelry was a souvenir to remember a loved one who has passed away. It was a token of affection for the ones they love and it was very popular during the Victorian era.

The pendant has porcelain-like photographs set inside a rose gold filled case. There are two photographs, one is a older woman and another is a young little girl, probably mother and daughter? The photographs are hand tinted and are in very good condition with no visible damage to them. This is the first time I'd acquired a mourning pendant like this with two photos, the ones that I usually have contains only one. The side of the pendant is decorated with very delicate dots. There is some minimal wear to the rose gold but overall condition is excellent for a piece that it's so old :) I've added a dainty 14k gold filled chain to go with this.

Measures: Approximately 3/4" in diameter
Circa: 1900s-1909s
Chain: 18"
Components: All gold filled
