Ear wires are made of high quality titanium, so that even people who have allergic reactions to anything less than 18 K gold have no problems. The silver part are made of fine silver 99.9% pure silver, which is purer than sterling silver. This silver is eco friendly as it is recycled from old movie tins. I make the posts about 11 mm, this is a little longer than most commercial posts, I think this size is easier to manage. The earrings come with a pair of clear rubber backings.
