Leather has been used to make water containers and drinking vessals for hundreds of years, and if looked after should last a lifetime.

This leather flask is constructed from english pit tanned leather from a Tannery which has been tanning hides since the 1700s,

The flask will hold 2 1/2 English pints, approxiamatly 1 1/2 litres, and is lined with brewers pitch,
(a traditonal method used since medievel times), and comes with a wooden stopper.

It could also be used to hold beer or wine, but nothing stronger than 12 % alcohol though, so no Whiskey, that would be best kept in a glass bottle anyway.

It measures 12 inchs (30cms) high, by 10 inchs (26 cms) wide.

This flask would make a great addition to any reenactors outfit from the medievel period right through to the old west
