They were all hand-formed and decorated by me, fired once, and fired again. When the kiln was at 1020 C temperature, the beads were taken out and thrown to a bucket full of wood chips. The rapid temperature change and lack of oxygen made the clay become dark and brought out some interesting effects in the glazes.
Due to different firings and glazes all of them are unique in their metallic shine: some are black with dark copper hues, some the color of dark gold, some are matte black or smoky silvery grey. No two are the same.
The disk-shaped bead has pure .999 silver dots on them, while some of the others were fired with silver and got some amazing colours from silver and copper vapours.
All beads were fired in different environments and have slightly differing raku finishes. The coin shown in the last photo is slightly more than 2 cm across.

The set contains:

-- a raku face pendant with four wire loops
-- two textured larger beads in dark matte copper glaze
-- a disk-shaped bead with pure silver dots
-- a dark, silvery pendant on wire loop with two horns
-- a bead with pressed in keys from an antique Dutch spoon
-- 4 rough, irregular raku beads with silvery finish
