This is an old printing plate used by the small town printing press. It has Soy, Milo, etc along the top, and the right sight has comments such as, "on hand today," so I feel comfortable saying this was used for inventory. It's heavy quality wood with a metal plate on the top. The collectioni dates from the 1950s-70s, but I would put this in the 70s. Great eclectic item.

Width is almost 10 1/2"-height is 4." Thickness of the wood is approx. one inch.
