This hand knitted Cowichan style tote is made with 100% pure Canadian sheep's wool from the Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, Canada. The traditional Salish motifs are from the book Salish Indian Sweaters A Pacific Northwest Tradition by Priscilla A Gibson-Roberts (1989). The tote design is my own. The tote has two exterior pockets and ample interior to carry a wallet, book, gloves, umbrella and some shopping. The actual outside measurement when laid flat is 15" wide by 14" tall. The outside circumference is 26". This is a one of a kind piece and can be used on one's dresser as a catch-all bowl, as a plant surround, or just a wall hanging. A great piece to own and show off.
