This silk weave scarf will make a great accessory to all those lovely outfits. The print is weaved into the scarf to create ethnic patterns. This is a classy scarf with tassels at the end and has motifs of paisleys, flowers and leaves. The scarf also features raw edges, which have been intentionally left raw, so you can admire the gorgeous weave.

The print reminds of the same patterns seen at the Taj Mahal - the softness of the silk and the delicate work surely will make you look like royalty!

This beautiful scarf has been restructured from an old duppatta that belonged to my mother. Duppatta's (or chunni's) are traditional long head & body scarves custom made to match the traditional Indian outfit of Salwar Kameez. This traditional outfit is worn essentially in Northern India by Punjabi & Kashmiri women. Since these duppattas are worn as a sign of respect and femininity, each duppatta is a work of art in itself! The gorgeous vintage find has been sized to a standard scarf size with utmost care to maintain the original charm, yet have a new life of it's own.

It will make a great fall accessory as a neck scarf, head scarf or head band, purse scarf or even a hip scarf.

The scarf will come beautifully gift - packaged in an printed organza bag with detailed wash & care instructions.

If you would like to get this scarf shipped as a gift to a loved one, please mention the details in "Note to Seller" section of the checkout process.

Note 1 - The fabric is anywhere from 10 to 40 yrs old, hence there may be small spots & loose threads. Although we've tried to make the scarf as neat as possible, please allow for some blemishes.

Note 2 - Although we've tried to maintain the actual colors of the scarves to as close as possible, Please allow for slight color variations as each monitor's colors vary.
