Svetovid is the Slavic deity of war, fertility and abundance.
Svetovid is depicted as a four-headed god with two heads looking forward and two back. A statue portraying the god shows him with four heads, each one looking in a separate direction, a symbolical representation of the four directions of the compass, and also perhaps the four seasons of the year.
Many of modern researchers see Svetovid as a Rugian counterpart of the all-Slavic Perun common in Slavic mythology.

Here is a reconstruction of a wooden figure from 9th-10th century AD. The original was found in Polish town Wolin and was probalby used for home worship. The only thing that distinguishes this replica from the original is the platform at the bottom.
The figure is around 20cm (8 inch) tall and is made of lime wood. The dark color is obtained by covering the statue with diluted tar.
