Vera Neumann was a design leader - often originating styles long before we think of them as having been popular. Color blocking became very popular in the early 1970's, and yet Vera had already been putting out color block designs in the mid-1960's.

This gorgeous Vera is filled with ultramarine blues and true red diamonds blocked into bright white pure silk fabric. Hand-rolled hems in contrasting sapphire blue silk remind you of the affordable luxury and exceptional craftsmanship of a Vera scarf.

Measures 22 1/2" square. Hand-screened in Japan onto Vera's pure silk - so strong, soft, and watery draping. Hand washable in cool water.

Beautiful vintage condition.... one 1/4" dark blue spot, perhaps ink, might or might not launder out with the classic hairspray treatment. It does little to detract from the almost pristine beauty of the scarf.
