This beautiful handcrafted coin pendant is with made with an authentic 10 Yen Japanese Byodan Temple coin that hangs from a copper bail. The disc that the coin is attached to is hand cut and fire torch enameled with black and brown gold glass. Every foreign coin pendant that I make goes through a lengthy and detailed crafting process:

Each coin is stripped clean, and then hand painted with permanent black ink. The coin is baked to permanently bond the ink to the coin, then the coin is hand glazed. I make a custom glass coated disc for each coin that is fire torched several times with layers of colored glass until I get the correct color combination that I want for that coin. The coin is then permanently bonded to the coin, and a clasp is attached.

These coin pendants should not be worn in the shower or exposed to water for long periods of time, or the black ink could wear off.

This piece does not come with a chain. Matching chains can be found in my store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/FashionWire?section_id=7373565

Suggested chain color: Gunmetal, Silver

All of my pendants come with a gift box, signed and dated craft card as well as special care instructions.
