Get folky with this great album by Melanie! While she isn't currently revered like Joni Mitchell or Joan Baez, Melanie had a good run of popular hits in the 70s, her biggest one, "Brand New Key" is featured on this album along with her other Top 40 hit, "Ring That Living Bell." These songs are fresh-sounding and subtly weird as only 70s folkies could be. Surprisingly, Melanie's voice is a dead-ringer for nu-folk goddess Joanna Newsome. They have a similar, wistful range and Newsome has even covered "Shine The Living Light" (from this album) live in concert. Lost folk gem or missing link to the 'freak folk' movement? You decide!

Side 1: Little Bit Of Me / Some Day I'll Be A Farmer / Steppin / Brand New Key / Ring Around The Moon / Ring The Living Bell ~ Shine The Living Bell
Side 2; Railroad / Kansas / Some Say (I Got Devil) / Center Of The Circle / What Wondrous Love / Baby Day / Tell Me Why

In VERY GOOD condition. No skips noted, plays clean and bright. Exterior cover has light wear.
