Here is a fabulously Modern mid century medium format film camera with incredible retro design made by Chicago's Imperial Camera for Sears from 1960 through 1961 and part of the Sear's Tower Camera series with this Tower Phantom you look through the top viewfinder that opens up and it has a fixed lens on the front and a fixed shutter that works and it takes medium format 127 size roll film that fits in the back on the plastic reel provided. There is a brushing of some black paint on the bottom side, as seen in the 2nd photo if you zoom in. Otherwise it is in really good vintage condition. The shutter works fine, as does the lock for the back and the winding button and it was bought clean - even inside - so was well taken care of. I have not shot film through it though so cannot technically verify it as anything other than a display object, but everything moves trips and snaps and opens and closes just fine.

This is an awesome item and is perfect for TTL photography... its viewfinder is in great shape.
