This is a vintage tourist plate from Pikes Peak, Colorado. It is beautiful and old. On the back of the plate someone has written 1951, a memorable year for this family and their trip to Colorado. The front of the plate shows the Summit House on a cream background, Alt 14,110 ft. and an old car parked in front of the house. There is gold trim around the edge of the plate. On the back is stamped Pikes Peak Summit House and written underneath is, “Located on the top of the famous Pikes Peak in scenic Colorado and reached by driving 18 miles on what is known as “the worlds most wonderful highway.” It is 7 ½” across.

It is perfect vintage condition with no cracks, chips or breaks. This plate would look great in your Western room!!!
