An Arabia Strawberry Jam Pot or ramekin. A rare, highly collectible piece of Arabia pottery of Finland with a 1960's "Pomona" pattern designed by Raija Uosikkinen. A small jar/pot decorated with strawberries and vines around the sides. The pot is in great shape except for a minor chip on the underside of the lid, and there is some crazing on the interior of the pot due to its age. Please see detailed photos. These are hard to find with the original ceramic lids. Later production models had cork covers, because the lids tended to break, as they only loosely fit on the top.The bottom is marked with the "crown" and "ARABIA, MADE IN FINLAND, 6-66". A wonderfully rare piece of iconic 60's Scandinavian modernism. A very cute and festive design motif, which was subsequently copied by others, but never made quite as attractive.
