Quilted backpack with draw string top and an over sized button closure- no Velcro snags from this bag. (Toys not included)

Amy Schimler’s the cow says moo fabric line creates a cuddly book bag for your favorite little boy or girl. This is a roomy but light weight cotton back pack that can be used to fill with just enough for a car trip, a visit to Grandmothers or for nursery school. It would also make a great lunch pack- it is large enough for several containers and a drink besides.

I quilted the cotton fabric to a layer of muslin with a light polyester batting and then lined the bag with an additional layer of cotton so that there are no exposed seams. All seams are double or triple stitched. The flat base has heavy duty poly interfacing to keep its shape when filled with boy stuff!

10” high, 11” wide at the top; the flat base is 8” by 4”. The front outside pockets are 5” deep and 5 ½, 2 ¾, and 3” wide. There is a 5” by 4 ½” pocket inside the backpack.

The adjustable, lightly padded shoulder straps are fastened to the base of the back pack with polyester webbing, a metal ring and a plastic fastener.

This item was designed and sewn in my cat free, smoke free home. I do have one very special cocker spaniel.
